Visitors

Years 3 and 4 have had visitors from Betley Primary school in England. Pupils have been e-mailing and writing for a long time and decided to meet. They went for a walk in their wellies to Porth y Garran. Everyone teamed together to work on the beach. Curtis and Jack gave their pen pals a little gift to remember their visit to Wales. Lewis said “They were very nice people and I hope to see my pen pal again in the future, I really want to go to their school to see what it looks like.”

School maze!!

Soon Ysgol Rhoscolyn will launch its very own maze! It is not in use at the moment because the older children are a bit too tall and can easily find the exit but the little ones will most probably get lost! It is a big achievement for the school as the gardens are a huge success and the children enjoy playing in them. The maze was cut not that long ago and all that stands in the way of using it is the height of the grass as it is not quite long enough and the big children should be able to get lost not just the little ones. The school has improved since the trees were planted and fences put up and grass paths been cut - everybody has been keen to use them.
